GV II

Cottage. Possibly C16 with C18 and early C20 alterations and extensions.
Sandstone rubble plinth, timber-frame with slate roof and stone end stack
with brick shaft to left hand gable. One bay aligned east/west. One storey
and attic. One window, 2-light early C20 casement, one to ground floor and
and one in flat-roofed dormer, rear entry. Frame is irregular with a large
curved tension brace on north and south elevations supporting north-west and
south-west corner posts, a pair of cruck blades forms each gable end. Lean-
to early C20 extensions to left and right, the latter with brick stack and
and 2-light casement to north front. A third early C20 lean-to extension
to rear contains the entry.
