1/221 Eastwood


Farmhouse. Probably C18 with C19 alterations and extensions. Timber-
frame, brick extension, tiled roofs and side stack. L-plan with main
range aligned north/south at right-angles to road. Main range is two
storeys, C19 gable front to road has 3-light casements; east return side
has two windows, C18 wrought iron casements to first floor, ground floor
is masked by late C19 to early C20 glazed lean-to with entry to left;
second entry to centre of west side; framing is four panels high from cill
to wall-plate. Attached at north end of main range on its east side is a
C19 brick extension, probably a kitchen.
