GV II

Pedestal tomb for John Poole, died 1830. Finely cut sandstone. Roll mould-
ings to base and corners, deeply projecting cornice, stepped capping and
urn finial; oval inscription panels. This monument forms a group with the
nearby Godsall (qv) pedestal tomb which is contemporary and probably by the
same hand.
