4/233 Cider house and granary
about 20 yards north-west
of Hill Farmhouse


Cider house and granary. Probably C18. High sandstone rubble plinth,
timber-frame with brick nogging, tiled roof. Two bays aligned roughly
north/south. West elevation has gabled entry to granary at head of tallet
stairs. Frame is one panel high from high plinth to wall-plate and trusses
have V-struts to principals from collars. Interior contains cider mill.
Forms close upland farm group with Hill Farmhouse (qv) and the nearby
barn (qv).
