east of The Orchards

GV II

Barn. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-framed with wattle-and-
daub and plank infill, brick nogging and weatherboards, pantiled roof.
Four plus one bays aligned west-north-west/east-south-east. South elevation
has two extensions under catslide roofs either side of full-height ledged
cart entry. West gable is weatherboarded above large C20 entrance doors.
Frame is four panels high. Interior has raking struts from ties to principals
and queen-struts supporting collars with V-struts.
