Farmhouse. Probably C17, substantially enlarged and refronted in late
C18 to early C19. Timber-frame and brick, tiled and hipped slate roofs,
sandstone and brick stacks. Roughly rectangular plan with later large
range aligned north/south and brick-fronted C17 range aligned east/west
at south end. Large range has three storeys; C17 range two storeys and
attic. East elevation has 1:3 windows, segmentally-headed casements of
two, three and four lights, Diocletian window to attic gable on left hand
side, entry to left hand side of main range has transom light and
bracketted canopy above.
