4/267 Premises of Mr A Taylor

GV II

House. Probably C18. Timber-framed with plaster and breeze block infill
on high sandstone rubble plinth, corrugated asbestos roof and external
stone end stack with detached brick shaft. Two structural bays aligned
east/west. Basement with one storey and attic. South elevation to road
has four evenly spaced C19 casements each of two lights in the middle
row of panels with central ledged door into the basement beneath. Entry
to main floor by C20 glazed door in left gable. Frame is three panels
high from cill to wall-plate; gables have V-struts from collars to principals.
