3 yards south of the central
lancet of the south aisle of
the Church of St George

GV II

Chest tomb for William Burrup, died 1810. Finely cut sandstone. Moulded and
hipped capping, end panels are through-balusters, side panels have incised
quadrant corners. One of a group of four chest tombs, the others being for
Barrett (qv), Hooper (qv) and John Wheeler (qv).
