GV II

Chest tomb for Richard Mailes, died 1785. Sandstone ashlar, moulded base
and capping with deeply incised border to inscription panels. One of a
group of three monuments to the south-west of the south porch together with
the Mailes Jnr (qv) and Wheeler (qv) monuments.
