5/18 Barn approximately
40 metres east of
Freetown Farmhouse


Barn. C18 or early C19. Brick, tiled roof. Five bays aligned east/west
with central threshing floor. Two rows of three loop vents flank entrance,
now partly blocked and obscured by C20 additions (not of special interest),
similar vents in gable ends with perforated brickwork forming lozenge at
apex. Internal spur walls, inclined strut trusses and two tiers of purlins.
