10 metres east of
Walsopthorne Farmhouse

GV II


Barn. C17 with minor alterations. Timber-framed with part brick, part
cleft woven oak, part slatted infill. Sandstone plinth, weatherboard cladding
to west gable end, corrugated metal roof. Six bays aligned east/west with
threshing floor to west of centre; west end bay now forms stable with gable
entry. Framing: three panels from sill to wall-plate, inclined strut trusses
with two tiers of purlins.
