Farmhouse.C17,altered C18,C19 and C20.Timber-framed,part painted brick infill and part wattle-and-daub,painted brick refacing to south front and later additions,pantiled roof.Four framed bays aligned east/west facing south with lean-to with catslide to rear and further lean-to with cat-slide to eastern half of south front;entrance through lean-to,large stack to west gable end and further lateral stack toward centre at rear (now enclosed by lean-to).Single storey and attic,two dormers with two-light casements to west with two tripartite sash windows with cambered heads in brick refacing below,forward projecting lean-to with irregular fenestration,one sash window to east and three irregular casement windows to west of plain ledged door.Framing largely complete though encased within later additions,generally three square panels from sill to wall-plate with three struts to collar and V-struts in gable.Interior:contains good chamfered ceiling beams in two western bays.The two remaining bays are irregular with dropped tie-beam trusses and probably added during C18.
