north of Nashend Farmhouse

Barn. C18. Timber-framed with sandstone plinth and part rewalled with sand-
stone rubble, weatherboard cladding, tiled roof. Eight bays aligned north/
south, central threshing floor and part floored to north end, continuous
penticed lean-to to rear (east). Three square panels from sill to wall-plate,
collar and tie-beam trusses with three struts to collar and V-struts above.
Barn partly obscured by open framed lean-to to north end, not of special
interest.
