south-east of Slatch Farmhouse

Hop store and two adjoining kilns, now house. C18 hop store with C19 hop kilns.
Timber-framed store with painted brick infill, tiled roof, brick kilns with tiled
roofs. Store of three framed bays aligned east/west, north-east gable entry and
further entry to right of centre on south front, two circular kilns adjoin to west.
South front, five 2-light casement windows with latticed glazing to left and
similar window to right of ledged door. Interior: store formerly two storeys,
floor now removed, originally with dropped tie-beam trusses with curved braces
to collar, these remain intact with added C19 tie-beam and king-post. Slatch
Farmhouse is not included.
