Catley Court Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. c1600 with C18 wing to rear, altered C20. Timber-framed with
painted brick infill, sandstone plinth and stack, sandstone rubble C18
addition, tiled roofs. Four framed bays aligned south-west/north-east facing
south-east with north-west wing and lean-to giving catslide to rear, entrance
in right end bay to south-east front, main large central axial stack. Two
storeys, three windows, cross casements with leaded glazing and solid oak
frames flank later 2-light window, ground floor, similar altered cross-
casement to left of central forward projecting later bay window with hipped
roof; doorway to right with plain ledged door and overlight.
