House. Possibly C17 with mainly C20 alterations and additions. Timber-
framed with part painted brick infill and some wattle-and-daub panels
remaining, northern sandstone addition, with tile-hung upper storey and
gable, pantiled roofs. Original house of three framed bays aligned east/
west with gable end stacks and central entrance, later additions to rear
(north). Originally single-storey and attic, now two storeys with raised
roof; south front, three windows 2- and 3-light casements, 4-light window
and pair of French windows to left and 2-light window to right flanking
glazed C20 door. North front: two projecting gables over lean-to addition.
Framing: reputed to be fairly intact, originally three square panels from
sill to wall-plate now raised to four.
