Farmhouse. C17. Minor alterations and additions to rear. Timber-framed
with rendered and part painted brick infill, sandstone plinth and stack,
tiled roof. L-plan house with main block of two framed bays aligned north/
south with cross-wing of two framed bays at north end, facing west. Entrance
in main block to right of cross-wing, probable through-passage, south gable
end stack and north lateral stack to cross-wing. Two storeys; west front,
upper slightly projecting storey of main block with moulded bressummer
supported on two scrolled brackets; two 3-light casement windows, gable end
of cross-wing to left with 2-light window; C20 ledged door. Framing largely
complete, four square panels high with short angle braces from main posts to
wall-plate, two struts to collar and V-struts in gable.
