House, now divided into two tenements, No 1 to east and No 2 to west.
Possibly C17 origins, altered mid-C19 and C20. Timber-framed, painted brick
infill, sandstone stacks, brick shafts, tiled roof, later brick rear additions.
Two framed bays aligned east/west facing north with later extension to rear,
present entrances to east and to west sides of rear extension, gable end
stacks. Two storeys; north front, two 2-light casement windows with two
pairs of similar windows to ground floor. Framing fairly complete though
altered and roof raised; generally four square panels from sill to wall-plate
and weatherings to horizontal members of gable.
