Barn. C17. Timber-framed with sandstone plinth part underbuilt with brick,
weatherboard cladding, slatted infill and woven cleft oak infill, tiled roof.
Five bays aligned east/west, added lean-tos to rear, with central threshing
floor, inserted floor to flanking bays. Three square panels from sill to
wall-plate, collar and tie-beam trusses with inclined struts, two tiers of
purlins. Southfield Farmhouse is not included.
