Farmhouse. C17 core, altered and extended late C18 or early C19, C20
alterations. Timber-framed core to east wing, brick infill sandstone plinth,
brick refacing and remodelling to main block, slate and tiled roofs.
Irregular plan, cross-wing to east and main block aligned east/west facing
south with further addition to west; entrance central to main block and
further entrance in angle with cross-wing; lateral external stack to cross-
wing enclosed by lean-to, further stacks to west end of main block and to
rear. South front, gable end of cross-wing projects forward to right,
single storey and attic. One glazing bar sash window with cambered head in
attic, two C20 windows to ground floor, one in lean-to with ledged door,
doorway with canopy and ledged door in angle; main block to left two storeys
and attics, string course, three windows, three half-dormers light attic,
glazing bar sash windows throughout, central gabled porch with half-glazed
door, two similar windows in later addition to left, with ledged door to
right of one 4-light casement window on ground floor. Framing of cross-
wings appears complete, three square panels from sill to wall-plate.
