Farmhouse and adjoining granary. C16, altered and extended C18 and mid-C19.
Timber-framed with painted brick infill, sandstone plinth and painted sand-
stone rubble refacing to north front, part hipped slate roofs. L-plan with
main range aligned east/west facing north with cross-wing at east end, later
additions to east and granary with circular hop kilns adjoins to west.
Entrance in main range to right of cross-wing, axial stack at angle with
cross-wing and to right end. Two storeys, attics and cellars. North
front, gable end of cross-wing to left with one 3-light casement window,
main range to right with two cross-casement windows, gabled porch with
ledged door. Framing: four square panels from sill to wall-plate; cross-
wing, formerly with overhang, traces of moulded bressummer visible above
later underbuilding.
