House. Early C19. Brick in Flemish bond with hipped tile roof. A
symmetrical composition of three storeys and three bays. Windows sashed
with glazing bars with gauged brick heads. Those on the ground floor are
tripartite. To each side is a single-storey bay with coped parapet. The
window of the left-hand one is blind. The single-storey porch has a stone
cornice and a coping with two ball finials. The timber doorcase has Tuscan
pilasters with paterae, a pediment, and a frieze with carved swags and
central winged head. Facade has parapet with coping, and end chimneys.
The deeds are said to refer to the house as "newly built" in 1820.
