The Three Kings Inn

Public house. C16, with earlier remains and C19 alterations. Brick and
timber-framing with roof of slate and tile. Two storeys. Main range, at
left, of two bays with brick facade. On the ground floor are timber canted
bay windows. All windows are sashed with glazing bars. Doors between bays.
To the right a tile roof of steeper pitch connects the range with a timber-
framed cross-wing. On the ground floor this has two timber canted bay windows
with casements with a central doorway. On the first floor the wing is close-
studded with curved tension braces. The gable has a fishbone king-post truss
and diagonal studding. Chimney to left of cross-wing and on left-hand wall of
main range. This gable wall has an exposed cruck truss. Interior: said to
contain further cruck trusses.
