House and dairy. Probably early C19 with late C19 additions and alterations.
Brick with some applied timber-framing and tile roof. Two storeys. South
front has a single-storey timber canted bay window towards left and a sashed
window with glazing bars at right. On the first floor are four casement
windows. Above all except the third is a gable with bargeboards, finial and
applied timbering. Door at left under open timber porch. At the rear is a
parallel range. A rear wing extends northwards on the west side and has an
open single-storey porch linking it to the dairy, the main part of which is
octagonal and has a band of applied timbering above a brick base. On the
west side is a timber mullioned window. Adjoining the north side of the
octagon is a gabled wing in a similar style with a mullioned window at the
front (west) and a door in its south wall. Interior: the dairy is tiled
and has marble slabs with iron supports and iron gaslight brackets.
