(East Side)
Brookfield Guest House
so 6024 3/69


C18 and later. L-shaped with wings North and East. Eastwing is of 3 storeys
with lunette on top floor. Roughcast. Quoins. Casement windows. On West
return there are modillions below the eaves, a high plinth and cellar entrance
with old studded door, with trident hinges. Small projection on ground
floor with stone slate roof. The other wing is of 2 storeys with 3 dormers.
Modillioned eaves. 3 sash windows with band between floors. East of this
and Joined is a block of red sandstone with hipped slate roof and casement
windows. .
