6/10 Town House Farmhouse

GV II


Farmhouse. C17 with extensive mid-C19 additions. Coursed rubble and render
on timber-frame with brick infill, hipped slate roof. H-plan, with rendered
stack to left side of right wing and brick stack at junction of left wing and
main range. Multi-pane metal casements to first floor, 2 to main range of
different sizes, all under square labels, except right wing. Entrance to
right of main range with doorcase of Doric pilasters, recessed door has 3-
pane overlight, 4 panelled door. Right wall of right wing has exposed timber-
framing on high rubble plinth, 4 square panels high to wall-plate.
