35 metres north-west of
west tower of Church of
St Mary

GV II

Pedestal tomb. Early C19. Ashlar. Square plan cuboid on plinth, shallow
pyramidal top with cross-gabled finial, raised inscription panel with
paterae in corners. East inscription: "Sacred to the Memory/ of William
Williams/ late of this Parish who/ died January 6th 1817/ Aged 79/ Years/
[12 more lines]". Also inscriptions on the other faces. This is a good
example of stone masonry and enhances the setting of the church; it con-
tributes to the group value of the other memorials in the churchyard.
