Memorial. Early C19. Sundial signed "Duppa Jenkins Sculpsit". Brass,
limestone and ashlar. Brass sundial set on a pillar of white limestone,
on a large circular plan base, 3 steps high. Inscription on sundial:
"Placed upon the Tomb of John and Mary Stallard in Clifford Church yard,
Herefordshire". Mary Stallard was buried 3 March 1772; John Stallard was
buried on 14 July 1817. (Clifford parish registers, Hereford & Worcester
County Record Office).
