SO 24 SE CLIFFORD CP

Barn. C17 with C18 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame on rubble plinth,
weatherboarded, stone slate roof repaired with corrugated iron. Thirteen
framed bays, arranged with 3 threshing floors as follows (from north to
south): 3 bays, threshing floor, 3 bays, threshing floor, 3 bays, threshing
floor, 2 bays. Two contemporary lean-tos against west side. The five
northern bays have been reconstructed (probably C18) with rubble walls,
framing of rest is 4 square panels high to wall-plate, all originally with
woven infill. Trusses all have 2 raking struts and collar. Northernmost
threshing floor has a 2 roof bay gabled porch of rubble on west side.
