Toll bridge. 1802 with later alterations. Ashlar and timber-frame. Five
arches, the one each side nearest land of stone, segmental, almost fully
semi-circular; the south arch is slightly skew; both have plain stone
parapets, river piers have cut waters. Central 3 arches of timber, 2 timber
piers with galvanised iron to cutwaters, straight braces to timber road bed;
the road above has simple metal railings each side.
