SO 24 NW CLIFFORD CP A 438 (east side)

20 metres north-west of
Lower Court


Former cartshed and granary, now storehouse. C17. Rubble, timber-frame
with wattle-and-daub infill, stone slate roof. Three roof bays, entrance
at south-east end through gable wall; 2 blocked openings in north-east wall,
circular pillar to east corner. Steps up to first floor granary on south-
west wall. Framing: one square panel high in side walls and south-east
gable, north-west gable of rubble. Gable truss: cambered tie-beam with 3
queen struts to collar and V-struts above. Raked top loft entry to north-
east wall.
