Barn. C17 with mid-C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-frame on concrete
and rubble plinth, some of the original woven infill panels survive,
weatherboarded, corrugated iron roof. Seven framed bays with a 3 framed
bay cross-wing at south-east end (mid and late C17 respectively). Main
barn arranged front north-west end as follows: 2 bays, threshing floor,
2 bays (formerly divided), threshing floor, one bay. Framing: 3 square
panels high. Trusses almost all have 2 queen struts to collar, except
north-west gable which has 6 intersecting raking struts giving decorative
effect (now obscured externally by weatherboarding).
