Stables, coachhouse and outhouses. Late C18 with C19 and C20 modifications.
Rubble with corrugated iron and slate roof. L-plan, north/south stable range,
corner tower, east/west coachhouse below, other former uses above.
North/south range: i) storeys, main front to west, central break forward
with pediment, flanked on each side by a lunette, and door beyond to left;
break has central door, formerly flanked by lunettes, but that to right has
been replaced by a sliding door (late C20). Tower: 3 storeys, first floor
with lancet windows filled with iron casements, top storey open on all four
sides as viewing platform, pyramidal roof (in poor condition at time of survey
July 1984); ground floor has a set of stone steps attached to west side,
arched opening to west. East/west range: south elevation had 2 windows to
first floor, the west one blocked, other with glazing bar sash; entrance at
west end reached by stone steps. North elevation includes coachhouse at
west end. Interior: the first floor tower room has a cast iron door.
