SO 24 NE CLIFFORD CP PRIORY WOOD

2/100 Barn at Castleton Farm

Barn. Early C18. Timber-frame, weatherboarded, on high rubble plinth,
rubble gables, stone slate roof. Four framed bays, threshing floor in
bay west of centre. Framing: 2 rectangular panels high, trusses: 2 raking
struts and high collar, ridge, straight tension braces to trusses below
tie-beam. Gables have ventilation slits; 2 segmental headed pitching holes
to east gable, one to west.
