Pedestal tomb. Early C19. Ashlar. Square plan cuboid on plinth, chamfered
top to pyramidal cap surmounted by finial; oval inscription panels framed by
fluted pilasters; upper spandrels fluted, lower spandrels with paterae.
Inscription (south): "Underneath/ are/ deposited the / mortal Remains/ of the Revd/
John Jones/ of this Parish./ He deceased August/ the 19th A.D./ 1826/ Aged [ ... ]/
[ ... ]". West: Lucy Jones (daughter of John) died 1824. Signed: "[ ... ]
Peterchurch".
