east of Greathouse Farmhouse

Cowhouse. Probably early C18 with C20 alterations. Timber-frame, weather-
boarded, and painted rubble, stone slate roof. About 5 framed bays. Two
storeys, loft over cowhouses, loft door left of centre; to ground floor,
cattle entry to left, 2 cart entries, another cattle entry to left. Framing:
probably single rectangular panels; gable truss has queen struts to collar.
Interior not inspected.
