Milestone. Dated 1840. Painted cast iron. Triangular plan, raked top,
pedestal smaller than top with cavetto corners. Raised edges to inscription
panels. Top: "PETERCHURCH/ PARISH". Left side: "To/ HEREFORD/ 12/ MILES".
Right side: "To/ (HAY/ 9) MILE". Letters in brackets painted on. Largely
illegible founder's name on pedestal, except the date 1840.
