immediately to west of
south porch of Church of
St Giles

Group of six headstones dating from early to mid-C18. Sandstone. Six shaped
headstones arranged in two rows of three, mainly with one winged cherub above
cartouche with convex inscription panel. The nearest to the church in the
eastern row has two cherubs. Partly defaced inscription panels, that to the
north-west commemorates Thomas son of William Budding died 1713. Fine examples
of local craftsmanship and contributing to the general setting of the church.
