Farmhouse. C17, altered mid-C20. Painted and rendered rubble;
slate roof, hipped at upper (west) end. Effectively a square block at
west end with a lower three-bay wing to east, facing north; the main block
is 2 x 2 bays with two stacks framing it to east and west. One storey
and attic. Two gabled half dormers, evidently once for mullioned windows
(see lintels with rebates at corners). 3-light C20 casement above C20
picture windows. Lower extension to left also single storey and attic
with two gabled half dormers; glazed door to former through-passage close
to main block, further C20 window replacing former stone mullioned window.
C20 masonry and glazed porch. Left gable end with two square-headed C17
moulded lights. Interior: altered; one room to ground floor at south-east
of main block retains heavy spine beam and close-set joists, wooden newel
staircase in traditional position next to stack towards rear.
