SO 41 NE LLANROTHAL CP TREGATE CASTLE

approximately 20 m south-
east of Tregate Castle
Farmhouse

Cart shed and granary. Probably early C18. Sandstone rubble with
corrugated metal roof. Four bays aligned north-west/south-east, steps
to granary at north-west end. North-east side formerly open with drum
piers and residual capitals, short wall carried on wooden lintels pro-
tected by picturesque pentice, now also metal clad. Openings now blocked
with weatherboarding, north-west bay now a stable with square-headed door-
way and wooden slats to window, garage openings to south-west. C18 wooden
surround to granary door.
