School, now house. Probably C17. Sandstone rubble base, timber-framed
with brick and plaster infill, thatched roofs, external brick stack to
east. Rectangular three-bay plan aligned roughly east/west with C17
lean-to across the two east bays on the north side. Two storeys.
South elevation: ground floor replaced in brick, four windows to first
floor, three to ground floor, C19 and C20 casements; gabled C20 porch
to right hand of centre. Frame: Two panels high to south, four panels
to west gable. (RCHM, Vol II, p 140).
