SO 54 NW MARDEN CP THE VAULD

of The Vauld Farmhouse

Barn. Probably late C17 - C18. Timber-frame, weatherboards, corrugated
iron with pantiled roof. Three bays aligned north-west/south-east with
cow shelter projecting towards south-west from west side (not included).
South-west elevation: full-height opposed ledged doors to middle bay, mid-
C19 weatherboarded extension to right. Frame: three panels high to wall-
plate. Interior: raking struts from ties supported by central plank posts
to centre trusses. Together with the nearby barn and cow shelter an
important complement to the setting of The Vauld Farmhouse (qv).
