4/56 Little Venn's Green

- II

Farmhouse, now dwelling. Probably C17 or C18 with later additions.
Timber-frame, high rubble plinth, slate roofs, stack to north-east side
and ridge stack at junction of two later west ranges. Rectangular plan
with three ranges joined end to end and aligned roughly east/west. Two
storeys. North elevation: left part has late C20 square single pane
window to left set in re-faced rubble with side stack, late C20 lean-to
to right partly masking a single row of timber-framed panels beneath
eaves. Centre and right parts have similar details; they appear to be
mid-C19 and mid-C20 additions and have shallow pitched roofs; lean-to
at west gable end entered from south.
