SO 54 NW SUTTON CP SUTTON ST NICHOLAS

Farmhouse. Probably C17, enlarged and remodelled in early C19. Brick
front range and timber-framed rear range with slate roofs. L-plan with
brick part aligned north-east/south-west and timber-framed part running
towards south-east from its north-west end. North-west elevation: two
storeys, 2:3 windows, glazing bar sashes, with end stack to left, dentilled
eaves cornice and bracketted hood over door in second bay from right.
Timber-frame range has one storey and attic. Eaves raised to rear.
Important position to south of churchyard.
