15 yards south-west of
- Wootton

Barn and granary. Mainly late C18 with mid-C19 remodelling and late C17 (?)
range attached. Mostly brick, part rubble, attached east range timber-
framed with brick infill, corrugated iron roofs. C18 barn has four bays
aligned north/south; the granary attached to the north on the same axis
also has four bays and returns in two bays towards Wootton (qv); C17 range .
attached centrally to east has four short bays. Two levels. West elevation:
four plus four bays; full-height partially blocked entry to right of centre;
two segmentally headed windows to right at low level and one to the left;
segmentally headed entrance with two-leaved ledged door to left of centre
set in rubble lower part of the longer granary side; first floor hatch to
right of brick upper level of this part. Interior: C17 range has queen
struts from ties to collars; the granary, interrupted tie-beam trusses with
swept braces; the south barn part has central struts from ties to collars
with diagonal struts to principals. Part of a very interesting farm complex.
