Barn. Probably mid-C19. Brick, slate roof. Eight bays aligned north/
south. West elevation: ventilator holes in brickwork arranged in diaper
patterns in groups of six, two wide by three high. Opposed full-height
ledged doors to third bay from north. Interior: pegged king post roof
trusses with additional raking struts from tie-beams to principals. The
barn is an important element in the village scene since it encloses the
east side of the parish churchyard and the west side of the Church Farmhouse
complex. Included for group value.
