SO 44 NE WELLINGTON CP WELLINGTON

House. Probably late C17 to early C18. Timber-frame, brick and plaster
infill, asbestos slate roof; two local type stone external stacks, one to
west gable with bread oven, one to east of entrance, both with detached
brick shafts. Two storeys, two bays aligned east/west, south elevation
has two 2-light mid-C20 casements to ground floor, one each side of
entry under segmental heads; first floor has two 2-light late C19 casements
immediately under eaves. Central entry via mid-C20 porch with pitched
slate roof. Frame rebuilt in front in brick to first floor level, three
square panels to gable end, straight struts support main posts. One-and-
a-half storey extension, probably C18, extends one bay on east end.
