SO 44 NE WELLINGTON CP WELLINGTON

House. Probably C17. Rubble plinth, timber-frame, plaster infill panels,
plain tiled roof, brick end stack to south and external stone end stack with
detached brick shaft to north end. Rectangular plan built in two phases
aligned north/south. One storey and attic, three bays. West elevation:
early C20 casements, those to centre and left of ground floor are oriels,
canted and of five lights, the first supported on moulded C17 (?) beam,
between the two is a blocked segmental headed doorway; two raking-top
2-light dormers to centre and right bays. Frame: three panels high from
low rubble plinth to wall-plate, struts to tops of posts at corners and
bay divisions. Left part has extra strut and slightly narrower panelling.
Entrance in plain tiled roofed mid-C20 porch on south gable.
