Granary and service block. Late C18. Brick, stone dressings, plain tiled
roof hipped to south-west and north. L-plan with one arm aligned north/
south and the other east/west giving a pavilion appearance from Wellington
Court (qv). South and west elevations have cogged eaves cornices, brick
string courses, stone dressings which stop short of corners, centres
advanced between stone quoins; pilasters to corners, stone keystones and
blind recesses. One-and-half storeys, nine bays to each arm. South
elevation: elliptical central blind arch with oeil-de-boeuf in typanum,
four ledged doors. West elevation: repositioned C17 console bracket
(the north bracket missing) with acanthus decoration (of Wellington Court
(qv) and Bridge Farmhouse (qv)) under hemi-domed hood, over central entrance,
second entry to left. Interior: pegged king posts to north/south range;
re-used raking strut trusses to east/west range forming a continuation
of ajdacent ten-bay barn and cow house (qv).
