7/178 The Glebe Cottage



Cottage. Late C18 probably. Still timber-framed with mixed brick,
plaster and rubble infill, rubble plinth, pantile roof. Three bays
aligned east/west, coursed rubble stack with brick shaft at west end.
One storey and gable-lit attic; south elevation singly consists of
two C20 casements with weather planks let into framing which is two
panels high from cill to plate; entered from rear. Brick gable end
wall to east. Included for group value.
